DEADLINE: MARCH 31 2012

The Trout Lake Festival of the Arts invites all artists of the Columbia Gorge and surrounding areas to apply to exhibit at the 17th annual 2012 Trout Lake Festival of the Arts.  All exhibiting artists must be juried and up to 50 artists will be selected in all mediums of two and three dimensional art. The art will be judged on its quality and creativity. Jury decisions are final.  Deadline for application is March 31, 2012. Notification of jurors’ decision will be made by the end of April.
General Information

Festival dates and times: July 14, (10:00-5:00) and July 15, (10:00-4:00) 2012.  Artists are expected to be present during scheduled hours.

Food, wine and beer will be available at the Festival as well as live music both days. We anticipate 4,000 visitors.

Advertising: There will be advertising in all local news media, Portland and Vancouver area papers, radio, tourist publications and appropriate web sites. Posters announcing the event will be distributed to 500 locations and 5,000 fliers are mailed and distributed.

Booth space: 10×10 feet. Artists must provide their own displays. Space is not to be shared except by prior authorization. All work shown must be by the artist. 90% of the work shown must be original. 10% may be reproduced.

Commission: Artists pay 10% on work sold from the Festival. The courtesy of a commission on work ordered
at the Festival is asked.

Exhibitors fee: $55 (If not selected, fees will be refunded.)
